Thanh Ha Homestay Sapa

The homestay was located in a quiet neighborhood at a reasonable distance from the center. The hosts were extremely polite and helpful. This was a good value stay in general.

Spacious room with solid oak furniture. Large heated bed, comfortable mattress. Friendly hosts.

The host was super friendly and responsive. We arrived quite late but she stayed up to allow us in. When we arrived the room was set up for us, with a very warm heated blanket ready for use! The room was very clean and spacious, large windows and two doors leading to balcony areas so we got a lot of light and airflow which was amazing. There are clean water and tea stations on every floor. Here you can also find a hair dryer. The location was good! Not directly down town but within walking distance of lots of great restaurants and things to see. Also the price was really good considering how touristy the area can get. I think we got very lucky on value for money here.

The hot water situation was a bit confusing. There was a switch to turn off before using the hot water, unsure of how long to leave it on before use though. The Wifi didn’t reach our bedroom, which didn’t bother us as we have Vietnamese numbers and data is insanely cheap here but be forewarned just in case. There was a cafe across the street whose wifi didn’t reach our work from our room though haha.

The room was super cozy and had TWO balconies! The bed had a heated blanket so the cold and humid weather wasn’t all that bad. The owners are sooo lovely and even though they don’t speak much English they were so helpful and friendly!

The WiFi wasn’t great but aside from that I had an incredible stay

Very nice hosts. Although not English speaking, very helpful. Clean and comfortable room with a hot shower and a heated blanket. Also free tea. Cute cat as well.
