Villa Galla

It’s near to the key places in the city Split.

Floor was bit cold first 2 days after it was ok.

Exceptional location close to Diocletian palace. Nice roof top terrace, if you are alone.

Pictures on booking convey impression which does not match reality. The “Villa” is a super small house with a ship like staircase. All rooms are tiny. There is no elevator and no reception.

Brilliant host - incredibly attentive and helpful. Helped us find parking and gave us lots of great recommendations, not just for Split but for the rest of our holiday in Croatia too! Great central location, perfect stay for a few days in Split.

Shower wasn’t a good layout, water came out everywhere, and the little fridge didn’t keep anything cold.

The location was very near to the centre and hence we could always go walking and also to go for our day trips the meet up point was very near.

Great location close to everything in Split. The owners were great and gave great tips for things to do and places to eat. Room was clean with good amenities.

Perfect location, only 5 min walk to Gregory of Nin statue and Golden Gate. 15 min walk from the port. Room was comfortable, had a mini fridge in the room but it wasn’t very cold so not used. Towels provided.

Villa is on a busy road so there was some noise from traffic but wasn’t too bad.

The service of the owners is amazing. They were waiting for us at the accommodation and helped us with the bagage. After that they guided us to a free parking spot and gave us diner tips. The location is really central , everything is in walking distance!

You hear the cars of the road infront. So If u are a lightsleeper than it is maybe annoying

We had a lovely stay at Villa Galla. Ante is a fantastic host - our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive until nearly midnight but this wasn't an issue, he provided us with a list of restaurant recommendations and checked in regularly to make sure things were okay. He let us store our luggage after check out too as we had a couple of hours before our ferry. The property is located a short walk away from Split Old Town but is still in a quiet location. The upstairs terrace is really nice to sit in at night too. The bed was really comfortable, welcome drinks are in the fridge and the room was very clean. Beach towels are even provided which was also a nice touch. We'd definitely stay at Villa Galla again.

Not an issue for us, but for those with mobility issues the rooms are up a couple flights of stairs so I maybe wouldn't recommend booking this property if you do struggle with stairs.
