The best thing was the location. It was one minute away from the old town of Split where everything happens. The host was very kind and helpful.

The rooms are not soundproof as indicated. The main door does not automatically lock because there were multiple cases where the door could have been opened without a key. A random delivery guy also came in because the door was kept open by other people. Therefore safety was not a 10 out of 10. There was no safe or locker in the room we got. The photos displayed sofas in the general area, but there were no sofas to be found after checking in.

Very clean and well kept. Staff was really helpful.

Location was very good - a stone's throw from the walls of Diocletian's Palace. The owner was very communicative and helpful with suggestions for parking and restaurants etc. The communal terrace was a nice touch.

Rooms were much smaller than they seemed from the pictures. We booked a twin room, which was just about ok for our two boys to share. However we also booked the 2-bedroom apartment, which was in fact two separate rooms on different floors. One room had a double bed and small kitchenette, but was very cramped with nowhere to store our luggage (we had to keep on case on the bed during the day), and the wardrobe was too high to be reached. There were no drawers, so we lived out of our cases for 2 nights. The other room was across the main corridor and up a steep flight of stairs (more like a ladder really), so not suitable for children or the elderly. This had a double bed and a bathroom and little else. It was a loft room with a sloping roof, and not very comfortable. Also there was a safety light above the ladder/stairs that could not be turned off and so disturbed our sleep.

We booked the 2 bedroom apartment, which said it had a terrace. The terrace was a shared terrace with 8 other apartments and very small! Also the 2nd bedroom was on another floor in the loft, up some very steep, narrow loft steps, totally unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. This isn’t mentioned anywhere on the description of the apartment. Our adult daughter had to sleep on the sofa bed in the same one room as us! The one main room, which is the size of a small bedroom, had a so called lounge/kitchen and bedroom all in the same space! The bathroom was seperate to this room. The person sleeping on the right side of the bed, had to walk into the lounge/kitchen area to get to the bathroom during the night, and with the sofa bed out, I had to climb over the bed to get to the bathroom. Very disappointed, unsuitable and over priced for what we paid for 3 nights.

The owner who communicated with me before arrival and greeted me at the hotel was incredibly friendly and welcoming, nice location to the old city, the refurbishment of the building has been done tastefully. I got a great last minute deal, Split hotels seem expensive on the whole so for me on this occasion, it was good value for money

Cheap renovations. It has an glass door at the bathroom which is not so private. All the water goes away from the shower all over the place. It smelled like weed inside, and the smell didn't went out until the day of teparture. The plus is that is close to the old town

Perfect spot and great host!

The location is perfect. The place would be liked by those preferring historical values with a modern touch. A bonus - shared terrace. Nice Old town view.

A bathroom and WC could have non-transparent doors.

Nice terrace, friendly and helpfull host, good location. There was even drinks in the fridge!

Shower was leaking water to the rest of the bathroom. Also bathroom door should give full privacy.
