Cannot rate our stay highly enough! Alen and his family were the best, super friendly and really helpful. Alen gave us recommendations for interesting places to see, the best places to shop and eat and was always spot on with his advice. Our accommodation was spotless and perfectly situated so that a short walk one way brought you to the centre of the promenade while the opposite way brought us to the beaches with astounding views. Or when we wanted to just chill at the apartment we had our own seating area and table to relax and bask in the heat.

It sounds corny but genuinely would struggle to find a negative thing to say about Guesthouse Kresic it is secluded enough to enjoy the peace and quiet but close enough to the centre that you could easily enjoy the nightlife without worry of getting home.

Super friendly and helpful owner who was full of good advice. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable.

Alen and Danijela made us feel very welcome. Alen shared some local information on good places to go in Split and beyond. Our hosts were also available if we wanted to ask anything else. The accommodation was well furnished and also seemed very secure and safe. The location was so good for walking into town and we also walked up into Marjan park from there which took time but was well worth it. There was a very close bakery and other useful shops within a 5 minute walk.

Just that the weather got a bit too hot for us. The air conditioning was great in the apartment but it meant going out on some days we had to take it easy.

First of all, a clear recommendation to spend your holiday there! The Guesthouse is very conveniently located so that you can be in the old town and Marjan Forest in a few minutes, there is a bakery right next door and a shop 5 minutes away. The habour is within easy walking distance and there are several tours starting from there. Our host Alen was very friendly and helpful, explained everything to us in piece and quiet and was always available for questions. The Guesthouse looks like the pictures, it is quiet with its own entrance. All in all, really good value for money!

I have travelled around the world and I must say that this is by far one of the best accomodations I have had! Alen is the best there is! He will make you feel welcome and help you anyway he can. Area is peaceful and quiet but still in the walking distance from everywhere. Chooae this and you will not be dissapointed!

The host was especially friendly and helpful and gave us useful advice to explore Split and the surrounding area. We were welcomed warmly and the guest house is located perfectly to enjoy both the city and the nature by foot. The guest house was clean and the garden and the surrounding neighborhood reflect the unique charm of Split. 10/10

Everything was perfect.

I recommend this place, especially for people who want a quiet place to rest at night ;) The localisation is perfect, it's close to the centre by foot and also to grocery stores, bakery etc. The owners are very hospitable, easy to reach and always respond quickly and offer their help. The place is very clean and the Wi-Fi works well too.

The guesthouse was centrally located but anyway in a quiet area. The host was very friendly and helpful and gave us good introduction of places to visit and services available. The room looked like it was just built and Alen was actively searching ways to make it even better. We will select this place again if we ever come back to Split.

The downstairs room we stayed in had a bed with endboards and big pillows. For a tall man like I the available length of 195 cm it was a little bit tight. The problem was solved with a smaller pillow (we were also offered an option to change to another room with different type of beds).
