"Fun and peaceful farm stay with great hosts and great views."

10.0

We loved the private setting, great view. We absolutely loved feeding the Alpacas and watching them run around. Neil was a wonderful host. It was so good we came back for another stay on our way back north.

"Excellent, the kids loved meeting and feeding all the animals"

Location was good considering the rural nature of the property. Not too far to Waihi town or beach.

"It was a lovely experience, although far too expensive"

7.0

We really liked the warmth and welcoming attitudes of our host, and the authentic kiwi experience of living on a farm, which means being able to feed their lovely alpacas and enjoy a wonderful starred sky, for example.

We think our accomodation was overpriced By such high fees, I would have expected to dwell on a real house on the farm. The cabins were nice but the costs were exaggerated, considering that on the rainy night we had they were very noisy and a bit cold. Also, I would have expected to have some family space to share, as in NZ you cannot trust summer either for a couple of nice days in a row to spend out on the deck. In the winter, the lack of direct connection with the bathroom could be uncomfortable overnight. Our suggestions are: add an extra cabin as a living room and kitchen, or else decrease the fees. It was a good experience , yet 560NZ dollars for 2 nights (4 people) is not a good price at all. The host was very kind in providing a barbecue set, yet a small induction plate or electric cooker should be added, in my view. (Antonella)
