Nikas Guest House

It's a really good place for solo travellers. The rooms are really good. The host was also nice to me. The room I got was a bit small but in my opinion it's enough for one person. The location is a bit far from the city centre. There are only a few shops nearby. I had a vehicle so that wasn't a big deal for me. Apart from that everything was good.

There are only a few shops for groceries or food places.

Not so good Wi-Fi connection inside my room. But it's good enough on the terrace, and there is a big table for my notebook, and a nice view.

I was nice clean room with personal toilet and conditioner.

Rooms were nice and the balcony was great. While I didn't use it much, the kitchen seemed good.

The check-in laster for quite a long time. The receptionist had no clue who we were despite me showing them the booking information. After a phone call or two and some digging around, they finally gave us a key. It was clean to start with, albeit with the cheapest half-ply toilet paper in existence. The water would start off cold and would take up to a few minutes to get warm. The rooms were not cleaned during our stay, not even the trash was taken out. Despite that, at some point, a cleaning lady tried entering our room without even knocking while we were getting dresses. Not sure why she even wanted to come in since no cleaning had been done. Also, no extra towels, even after 3 days. I had to come downstairs and knock on the owners apartment and ask for towels. WiFi was quite fickle. Location was awful, in some industrial zone surrounded by construction sites.
