Bit noisy at night because of the shared floor with lots of rooms and shared bathroom

The location was very good. The beds were comfortable.

The shared bathrooms were not too clean.

The personnel were so friendly and helpful! The hostal was decently located, maybe a 15 or 20 minute walk from the cathedral and a 15 minute walk from the bus station, and there were a decent number of coffee shops and restaurants nearby too. The room had two single beds and one double bed, and although we were concerned about how the shared bathrooms would work before we arrived, they were quite nice. There were maybe five rooms on our floor, and we all shared 2 bathrooms which each had their own shower. We never had any issues with waiting a long time for them to be open or anything, although I suppose that could depend on how many people are in all the rooms.

The elevator was the smallest thing I've ever seen, definitely not more than one person could fit in there with luggage, and it would be pretty tight even with just two people. The stairs function quite well though. The doors to our room and the bathrooms were a little wonky. They didn't want to latch right away, and you had to fiddle a bit to get the far bathroom door to lock, which made it feel a little insecure. When we had the lights shut off to sleep at night, I could look at the door and see light filtering in some cracks from how badly the door fit into its frame.
