Dicky Guest House in Canggu is suitable for solo travelers seeking a no-frills stay. The place provides adequate accommodations for individuals looking for a budget-friendly option with a decent location.

However, it might not be the best choice for families due to its limited amenities and possibly cramped spaces. The guest house offers a basic setup that caters more to the needs of solo adventurers rather than providing the amenities and space required for a comfortable family stay.

Good location

I would not recommend this property for a number of reasons unfortunately. The rooms are so dark with no natural light at all coming in, it looks completely different in pictures online so we imagine extra lighting was brought in to make the rooms appear brighter as all the rooms seemed the same from what we could see. The shower pressure was not good and every time we ran the water in the sink or shower the drains smelt terrible, so bad that we had to keep the bathroom door shut at all times. On our last day at the property the pipe leaked in the bathroom causing it to flood the whole floor of the bathroom and soak our personal belongings. When we asked a member of staff to look at this he said “oh it must be broken”and just walked out of the room and never returned. We were checking out 2 hours later so we did not bother to approach anyone again. We will not be back

It’s very quiet if u love some peace

If you are in a low budget and have to spend just a few nights maybe okay. The positive side is the location cause it’s very central and very close to the beach.

There’s such a mouldy smell that makes it quite difficult to breathe. The door of the room is a glass window facing the corridor, so first of all you cannot really leave it open to change the air or everyone will see you, and most importantly it’s so damaged that it doesn’t close properly. If you push it on one side, there’s gonna be a gap between the door and the wall, so insects will come inside and also it doesn’t look safe at all cause someone could force it and enter. No hairdryer.

It was clean and the staff were incredibly helpful despite limited English skills. They helped us with a laundry service and renting mopeds.

Room was enough, double bed, 2 towels. Staff weren’t at the property all day but thankfully were there when we checked in, they were nice. Location is great. Loads of warungs and cheap restaurants in the street, and just a walk away from the beach and Love Anchor market

Bathroom was a bit questionable, toilet was dirty even when flushing and shower curtain was broken and dirty. Other than that, it was decent.
