Anyar Guesthouse Canggu

The staff is really helpful and friendly, they helped me a lot and tried to make my stay as comfortable as possible. They also helped with the bike rental - the bike was really great - new and working amazing. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are very spacious with air conditioners and decent wifi

The facilities are old and breaking all the time (I have the hot water pipe break and the hot water was flooding the room for a few hours), in another room where I moved the shower was not working properly. I chaanged rooms several times which wasn`t a pleasant experience The internet spots are not always stable, however, all difficulties were fixed by the owner Kitchenware is fair but a but worn out, could be renewed

Bad wifi, dripping tap that wasn't fixed, no tolite paper for the first night of my arrival. Guest house transport was late, had to get petrol on the way to the property and dropped me 500 meters away from my destination.

The location is very nice for a long stay. Quiet area but still very close to Canggu center.

I chose Anyar Guest House because it was near the language school that I attended. Everyone made me feel very welcome, and they helped me arrange an airport pickup, scooter and driver to visit Ubud, at very fair prices. The employees were always so friendly and interested, it really made me feel at home and I was sad to leave. The rooms are very clean and spacious, and they cleaned them every two days which was more than enough. This is a really good place to stay for a longer time, for example if you are in Canggu for work. The area is quiet enough to have a good sleep, despite being very close to the main road so that with a scooter you can easily get to all the great restaurants and hotspots of Canggu in around 10 minutes. There is a very good Co-working space next door (I didn't use it but it looked awesome), and restaurants/supermarkets/phone store/beauty salon at walking distance. I had a great experience staying here and would definitely come back if I visit Canggu again!

I had a great experience, so this is more like a tip: I think it would be good if there was the option to have breakfast here- there are plenty of restaurants close by where one could have breakfast, but I think if people came down to the common area to have breakfast it would create more of a community feel. In any case I was perfectly happy with the fruit that I got from an excellent fruitseller nearby.

The room was large.
