TV channels like DSTV not working

The ladies were incredibly helpful, friendly and always willing to assist with anything we needed. The guesthouse was very clean, well-kept, and in a great location. We were travelling as a family and felt very comfortable and welcomed.

One small suggestion would be to remove the pool cleaner from the pool while guests are swimming as it would make the experience more comfortable.

The property was clean and met all expectations for our short stay. Since this was a last-minute booking we were pleased with the prompt and accommodating assistance from the property manager.

We do not have points that we can think of to note under dislikes.

The location was great, convenient and easy access to amenities.

The rooms aren't well kept, the bathroom towels are old with bleach stains, cupboards were falling. To top it off they (the owners or host) decided to host a party on the 31st December 2025 and only informed us in the morning that they are hosting a NYE party when we got back from our 12am new years celebration we came back to the noise that went on till around 4am the next morning bare in mind we were checking out that morning and had a long drive back to Joburg. I dont understand how the owner of the property would accept bookings if they know they'll be hosting parties we found that to be so inconsiderate.

The property is conveniently located. I could easily get to Oceans mall and the beach. I used Uber to move from the property to these locations and it didn't cost much. Also, my room was next to the pool which made for an amazing view. I enjoyed my stay at Oyster Guest House and appreciate the staff who were very kind and responsive whenever I needed assistance.

On one night I had neighbors who were very loud till late in the night. The management of the property should ensure that guests are not too loud to an extent that they inconvenience other guests in the property. The lights in my room kept flickering alot. This can be checked and addressed.

The location is very convenient. We were able to order food with ease and delivery was quick due to proximity. We were travelling as a big FAMILY group with kids. Kids been kids were often loud especially around the swimming area, but the host and her staff were very accommodative and made our stay pleasurable.

The rooms with a shared bathroom (1 is pool facing) have a small space toilet. An adult is uncomfortable using it.

Thando gave us a warm welcome and ensured that we’re settled and comfortable. She was professional and friendly.
