Julian's English Homestay and Pension

Katrinaさんがとても優しく、気さくに話しかけてくれたところ。 最初に英語か日本語どちらでの対応をしてほしいか希望を聞かれ、希望通りに話しかけてくれる。 英語を練習したい人はできるし、自信がないって人は日本語でも問題なく対応してくれる。 また、近くの温泉チケットをもらって入浴ができるのだが、その温泉も快適だった。 ご飯については自身で栽培されている野菜やお米をお腹いっぱいになる量を提供してくれた。朝食のみのプランで予約したものの、希望することでつけてもらうことができた。 他にも八ヶ岳周辺の行き先を提案してくれたり、パンフレットをくれたりと温かな心遣いを感じた。

クーラーがないところ。 行った日が特別暑かったのか、温泉の影響で体温が上がってたのか分からないが、寝苦しく感じた。 ただ、扇風機はあるので、各自扇風機で対応できる範囲だとは思う。

スタッフの対応が良かった。 朝ごはんが美味しかった。

お部屋にテレビやティッシュがなかったこと

お料理が美味しいかった。お野菜は自分達で作っているそうで新鮮でした。3泊しましたが、毎日違うお料理と手作りデザートが美味しかったです。

トイレにウォシュレットがあればよかったかな。

Everything was perfect... The host Katrina is amazing. She did some transfers for us station-pension-bike park-pension-station. We also ordered a homemade dinner that was very nice. We had a great talk to better understand the reality of Japan. Was great!

The beds were all single... It would be nice if at least 1 or 2 beds was double

The location is great, surrounded with beautiful views and nature, and onsen. The hosts are kind and friendly, and very helpful to tell me useful information around the area.

Such a great stay. Hospitality and food were top notch and the hosts went out of their way to make me comfortable. I came to the area for Mountain Biking and learned so much about the MTB community in Japan with recommendations on areas to check out. Thanks for the amazing stay!

Great location in the Highlands. Very warm welcome from Katrina to her delightful property. Meals were very good, the beds were comfortable and it was great to have a long chat with Katrina and the other guests over dinner and breakfast.
