A lovely pension in a beautiful part of Japan. Delicious multi-course dinner and friendly hosts who’ve set up their home to be super welcoming to families. Our kids loved all the toys and board games, and we enjoyed getting to know our hosts and other guests. We hope to be back!

Breakfast was great. The fresh coffee, the view from the window, owner’s chat etc.

It maybe hard to get anywhere else without a car.

The location is very convenient for traveling around in Yatsugatake. We had an American style breakfast each morning and in the evenings went to the nearby Onsen. Our hosts were super nice and picked us up from the train station and dropped us off at various places. The place is very homey and the rooms and amenities were very clean.
