"Great value for money one night stay and very homey!"

Great value for money, comfortable room and quaint location.

Bath towels are provided on a rental basis (was either 200 or 300 yen). They were very fluffy and big though!

"Pleasant"

Very friendly guy welcomed us, he spoke very good English. Warm, clean room. A good base for the tateyama alpine route. Good value.

Uncomfortable beds, very hard with springs sticking out.

It is a little out of the way, not an issue if you have a car though.

Location, common space with a kitchen and living room. The kindness of the hosts ♥️

No air con on the room. The room was really hot and no air was going through even with the window and door open :(

"Exceptional"

Perfect place to stay in the Hakuba region. The guesthouse is a very good value for money. The room is clean and well equipped. The bathroom also very clean and the kitchen perfect if you wanr to cook something. Its located in Kamishiro, 10 minutes walk to the station and 5 minutes to the gondola station. The owner is very nice. Highly recommend.

That we had to leave.

"A great stay"

Super cosy and clean. The room was pleasant and matched my needs perfectly. I could adjust the heater in my room myself which was nice. Kitchen was well equipped.

A bit far from the closest train station and conbini, around 15 min walk. Walking from the main road is slightly uphill so won't suit everyone.
