Fish Island Bungalows

Highlight of the Bungalows is of course the owner Mr. Leng who does everything possible to make your stay as smooth as possible. Also the property was in really good condition with a lovely garden and a lovely terrace to each bungalow.

Cute wooden sheds in a small gardens setting. Stayed for six nights and it was pleasant. Mainly we were out and about during the day as there is plenty to see in the area. Kampot was excellent for food options. The owner and his family are very pleasant and helpful.

The area smells of Sardines (well I guess the clue is in the name!). Expect the standard rural affair dogs, chickens, street noise, biting ants plus here you also get the weird town clock chiming at five and seven. Biting ants on the veranda.

Mr. Leng and Mama are very kind and helpful in arranging tours for us and providing feedback on Kampot. Wished we had stayed longer than two nights as the region is beautiful and lots to explore as well in nearby Kep.

Everything. The huge room, beautiful, tropical grounds. The bed is comfortable 😊The roof top bar area. Mr Leng is an absolute star. He took us on his tuk tuk to tour fish island at sunset which was wonderful. Ask him to sing you the sunset song 😊He also took us to see the palm sugar farm which was incredible. He told us so much history and stories of his life and genuinely is a lovely man. Mrs Leng is so nice and helpful and she also cooks really lovely food which we took up to rooftop to eat. The terrace looks over the river and town which is lit up at night. It’s beautiful

Mr. Leng was an amazing host! He treats all of his guests like family. Mr. Leng sunset tour was so much fun and we also got to see him sing for only $2. Mr. Leng also took us to a local restaurant to give us the most authentic experience most of all. We greatly appreciate Mr. Leng to make our stay special and we cannot wait to be back!

This is truly a fantastic place to explore the diverse and vibrant Kampot area. I highly recommend staying at least three nights to fully experience Bokor National Park, Kep, the renowned pepper farms, and more. Mr. and Ms. Leng are exceptional hosts—genuinely warm, extraordinarily helpful, and attentive to every detail. My AC room was comfortable, with a good bed and a spotless bathroom, making for a pleasant stay. The bungalows are set within a charming, well-kept garden, offering a peaceful retreat despite being just a short 4-minute scooter ride—or a scenic walk along the river—from the bustling Kampot center. I initially planned a shorter stay but extended for two extra nights simply because I loved both the accommodation and the town. Mr. Leng goes above and beyond to assist with any needs, from travel arrangements to, in my case, tracking down a rare soy sauce at the local market. A big thumbs-up and many thanks for an amazing stay!

We had a wonderful stay at fish island bungalows :) they have good prices for bike rental and tours and are genuinely nice people :) we ended up extending one night :) thank you for everything!

Super nice bungalows!! Everything was really beautiful and idyllic. Mr. Leng & his wife were the best hosts ever!! We can only recommend his beautiful evening tour! You have to experience this yourself. We would love to visit again.
