Mama's Family Guesthouse

Nice pool. We had a beautiful view of the mountains from our room and balcony at the top floor. Staff are happy to help and called us a tuk tuk. Powerful air conditioning. You can change the temperature of shower water to your liking. Comfiest bed we’ve had our whole south east Asia trip. Good wifi. Theres a restaurant right next door that we went to multiple times.

There were so many ants outside our room and a few made their way in. Very weak taps barely any water came out. It’s a bit loud at night around the area but we were able to sleep fine.

Pool was really clean. Beds quite hard, but you get used to it. We ended up staying longer than we had planned. Staff friendly. Rooms are run down but it's the cheapest accommodation with a pool around so you cant be to fussy with the standards. Fan rooms only, did get a bit hot but not unbearable. We stayed in the older section, the newer part at the pool is much nicer. Is half hour from town, we hired scooters there for $6 a day.

There were BED BUGS in the room. I've uploaded pictures and videos of it on their Google reviews you can take a look. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Located close enough to CBD to walk or quick tut tut. . . Plenty of food establishments close by. Pool available at the sister hotel next door with idyllic setting along the river. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
