Mama's Family Guesthouse

Friendly staff, great restaurant down the road and next door. Can easily upgrade to air con for a fee. We were given some mangoes yum yum!

Nothing it was cheap and cheerful

It's just far enough away from the town to be relaxing and not too far to walk into the action. The River bungalows next door have a lovely river frontage. Relaxing during the day and the lights are beautiful in the evening. It is very popular with local families so can get busy over the weekend.

The last night there was a guest who talked loudly all night! Even though there are signs up for quiet after 10pm.

The staff is really friendly and helpful. It’s close to the bridge that will bring you to the center, but still quite a walk, so I recommend to rent scooters. Fortunately that is possible at the guesthouse for only 6 dollars!! You can do laundry for a cheap price as well.

The bathroom smelled really bad, and there were ants everywhere! The swimming pool is not in the same block, but a little further on the same road. Since shared with another guesthouse, it’s quite busy. It’s nice to swim in the river though.

The swimming pool was at another hotel about 50 meters away. Not a special place but quite ok. The location.. Have to take a Tuk-Tuk to the center which takes 10 minutes. Wonderful staff it lifted the whole place.

Well thisnplace is some distance from everything.
