Não tem porta no banheiro privativo que dá direto no quarto. Horrível Prédio com cheiro de lixo, e piso das escadas estão em péssimo estado. Quarto no sótão com cheiro desagradável Não tinha toalha de rosto, piso de banheiro, lugar para pendurar as toalhas de banho e não tinha onde colocar o papel higiênico. Não tinha uma cápsula de café, água, janela quebrada da lavanderia.

No bathroom door! Only one blanket - I asked for an additional blanket. They refused to provide. Shower head broken. Toilet cover broken. Toilet paper refill only on the one day out of 4. Stairs without any protection, very dangerous. Very simple, but clean.

It's was an exceptionally trouble free and easy stay with excellent feedback and assistance from the owner and management. I would not hesistate to stay there again!

Modern renovation, comfy bed, but the blanket is not warm enough. We went end March, I assume it'd be much colder in winter. No heater in the room. No cabinet as shown in the ad photo. We're on top floor, 2 roof windows with black out blinds. Ample of sun in the morning. There's a desk, cloth rail, and floor lamp. We requested a hairdryer from the host, and she's helpful to have someone delivered to us. Wifi provided. There're 4 rooms downstairs and 3 upstairs. Small but equipped kitchen, however no kettle. No tea/ coffee provided. There're long term tenants I think, a shared bathroom downstairs. The kitchen and living room is really comfortable, clean and tidy. 2 small fridge, so not much space for chilling food or drinks. Communicate with host through whatsapp, ID sent through whatsapp not sure if it's safe or proper. Then we got the check in detail and passcode to enter the apartment and our room. Early check in not possible, but we can leave your bag in advance when requested. Highly recommend the restaurant Churrasqueira do Marquês, 15-20 mins public transport. High quality low cost local grilled restaurant. Full of people, and people waiting for takeaway. Sorry about the last photo, a bit messy after our stay, trying to capture the daylight.

Walk 3 floors, no lift. We're ok, but not ideal for someone with physical issues or heavy luggage. No tea/ coffee provided. TERRIBLE SMELL from shower drain If you have a sensitive nose, DO NOT stay here. We stayed in room 6 ensuite with own bathroom, but there's no door. The biggest issue is that the shower drain smells reall really BAD. BAD BAD BAD smell. I can't stress how bad it smells, you can smell it when you enter the room, you can smell it when you sleep, the bad smell stays 24 hours. I thought we could go back to the accommodation during the day for a nap, but we just can't because we expect the smell is there 24 hours! And it's 30 mins public transport to city center, 30 mins Bolt from Oriente bus station, 50-60 mins public transport from airport, with this price maybe you can find an accommodation easily in city center. 20 mins walk to urban train station Alcântara - Mar if you plan to want to Cascais. So it's not the most convenient place for tourist. There's nothing you can do with the smell not with air freshener sorry, I think the property has to find someone to clear the drain. One way that help is to shut the glass shower door, which stops the smell from spreading to the room. You'll do fine if you have nose blockage and if you lose sense of smell. I don't understand why there're a huge discrepancies in the reviews, maybe people got different room? Hope the host can fix the smell from the shower drain soon, then it'd be a 9/10 accommodation.

If you enjoy the stench of standing water, if you love climbing oversized old stairs 3 floors with no elevator, if you enjoy ducking when you go to bed or to the toilet, if you love management refusing a cancellation request less than a day after booking even for a reduced fee, if you love only getting one towel and no shampoo, if you love it when the shower doesn't have a place to put soap in it anywhere but the floor with the fun mold, if you enjoy bad communication if you love sharing 1 apartment (not a guest house, apartment) with 7 other guest rooms (it's honestly impressive how many walls one can add to one apartment, my neighbor had some issues closing her door but I luckily didn't) if you enjoy mold on the walls and in the shower on the floors on the walls and everywhere else, if you love having the same access code to the room as every other guest who stayed in your room ever, then you'll love this just as much as I did. The owner requested a positive review, this is as positive as it gets. Turns out she runs a tour company and have properties in other locations, so she got the money to renovate she just doesn't care. Better than a dorm room I guess but for the price you can find much better. Oh and she isn't actually in the property so good luck complaining I guess.
