HI71 Lisboa

Very clean,perfect location , close to bus station ,restaurant's and supermarket,also staff was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this H171 hotel.

Visit was too short !!!

The manager seemed nice and sweet in communication. The hotel rooms and shared areas (kitchen, toilet and bathroom) were clean and neat.

Unlike in the hotel description, the manager does not speak English, only Portuguese - thankfully, my husband knows the language, so he took care of communication for me. I imagine for foreign tourists it will be very difficult to understand the manager. Upon arrival, we were told that only cash payments were accepted, which made me feel uneasy. We had to rush to the nearest ATM to withdraw money, which felt quite pressuring. The payment confirmation or a receipt was not given immediately - we had to make multiple calls to the manager, until she finally sent the receipt. Without it, I am not sure we could ever prove the payment in cash was even made. The rooms themselves turned out to be much smaller than they seemed on the pictures.

A bit noisy as it is on a main road and also there is a rail beneath. But it is not a big issue.

Staff was great.

Location a bit far from old Lisbon.
