Lovely family run pub. We sat and did the quiz with all the locals and were made to feel very welcome. Gorgeous freshly cooked breakfast the following morning.

A slightly later check out would be nice, 10.30 is early to have breakfast, get organised and out. No TV in the room, not a deal breaker as we were only there one night

The food was really good. The room was clean and shower was good (if compact - no room for shelves to accommodate shower gels etc). Staff were also very good, polite and friendly.

There was no TV in the room (maybe not everyone's preference but something I'd like to have had). I also didn't sleep very well. The taps were really noisy as were floorboard noises so you could hear people walking around in adjacent rooms. I could also hear snoring in the next room. There is also a church to the rear of the property which rings bells every 15 mins!
