Beautiful interior decor. Lovely old building. Lots of high-quality extras. Very artistically arranged.

Not good soundproofing, but we're not kept awake. Balcony not accessible off room.

Mars41 absolutely exceeded my expectations. The B&B itself was beautifully decorated and the balcony attached to my room felt like the best added bonus. The pictures online didn't do the space justice! Maria was extremely kind and accommodating, and helpful with giving tips on where to go throughout the city. The location was also great - very close to Piazza Maggiore while also being removed enough to explore outside of touristy areas. I stayed at 5 different places during my time in Italy and Mars41 was by far my favorite. Would highly recommend to anyone, especially to other female solo travelers :)

One issue- the floor and the bed were a little creaky

Maria is an excellent host. She made you feel at home

Only thing I didn't like was the duvet. I believe it was made of polyester so it wasn't very breathable

Breakfast was provided at a nearby cafe (with a voucher). The breakfast was very good and the amount of food and choices were large. The host was extremely friendly and offered many suggestions about things to do both in Bologna and on the rest of our trip. The room was large and comfortable and having access to a kitchen and snacks was a nice touch.

No complaints, the apartment was quiet and located in a very convenient area.
