Ringo's Foyer

The property is very well located their common space is cute and definitely made to favour interactions between people. Their rooftop offers a stunning views for sunset and right below the library is a dream. The staff, especially the owner is adorable and very helpful. It is a true backpacker hostel and I loved it!

The property needs a good clean. This place could be more than amazing and absolutely a must-go if it fixed some of their equipments/walls/paints. It just needs a bit of refresh and it will be absolutely perfect.

The location of the accommodation is really great! The volunteers and the owner are also super friendly and will give you tips if you need them. The beds themselves are also very comfortable

Unfortunately, I'm a bit disappointed in general. I had little red ants in my bed, so a whole road went through my clothes. The toilets were very dirty and there was no garbage can in the toilets. You always had to put your trash in the trash in the middle of all the bathrooms. But this was invariably overfilled and the garbage was all around. Also the wifi was often down, but if you had wifi it was good!0

Caretaker is friendly and helpful. Guests there are friendly. Reasonable price, strategic location and convenient.

For the price of the rooms I don't think you could find much better value around. We stayed in a private room (shared bathroom) which was clean enough and had good working AC. The bed was comfy, though I'd have liked another pillow or two. The staff/volunteers are communicative and there seems to be a lot of group activities planned via a WhatsApp group The location is great with all the major attractions within walking distance.

There are a few areas which have odd smells (the resident cat is probably to blame) but they seem to be taking proactive measures in response to other recent reviews, for example when we arrived they'd just finished re-painting some walls.

This was a really kind and polite place where the staff made an effort to help you out. Location near the river walk and centre. Rooftop to hang out. Just a pleasant and social place. Also I just want to mention and appreciate that the owner returned me some extra money for some kind of issue I didn't even notice which was not expected at all and showed their generosity.

Private rooms will get some street noise (mostly only a concern with fireworks during Raya celebrations)
