Love the old time set up. Comfy warm and friendly this is the second time staying here and we stayed for 4 nights. Breakfast supplied in the mornings

The only down fall is the hill we have to walk up to it after being out at night. But a great way to get fit 😀

Great location

Das B&B liegt oberhalb der Stadt, ca 15 Min dorthin zu Fuss. Auch zu den Pinguinen ist es nicht weit. - Freundlicher Empfang. - Das Haus ist ca 100 Jahre alt und steckt voller Antiquitäten. - Großes Zimmer im 1. Stock, 2 Betten. Die Dusche quasi auf dem Balkon bzw. Wintergarten. Wenn man auf dem Klo sitzt, kann man das Meer sehen - sehr originell! Jedoch kann man auch die Fenster blickdicht zuziehen. - Gute Betten, Bettdecke zu dick. - Alles sauber. Alles wirkt wie Do-it-yourself was die Installationen etc. angeht. - Frühstück macht man sich selber: Toast und diverse Konfitüren oder Aufstriche. Tee oder Kaffee. Man sitzt schön im Wintergarten mit Blick auf das Meer. - Freundliches Gespräch mit dem Besitzer.

Furnitures and bed was dated. Not very clean. But location was good. Breakfast was better. Oamaru Penguin was in walking distance.

Great view. Comfortable bed. Basic continental breakfast. Eclectic interior.

Nothing really but old layout may not to be in everyone’s taste if you are more comfortable in modern.

Handy location for town and beach. Rodger is a great host and I really enjoyed our chats, as a local he knows a lot about the history of the area. The house is very homely and a real step back in time to how B&B’s were, as reflected in the breakfast with its impressive array of preserves. The view from our room was incredible, luckily we had clear skies to enjoy the sunrise over the harbour and ocean.
