Central location the chap at breakfast and wife were lovely

The room was filthy and mould on walls ceiling above bed shower etc. the hotspot kept falling off and the skylight with no blind faces into another room above from shower. The radiator in both rooms were rotten with rust the wardrobe fell on me nearly knocking me out. Dangerous. The glasses were filthy. Under bed lots of old sweet papers etc. door board loose bottom of bed and and no heating first night. Freezing. Awful stay.

Centre of Brodick, nice friendly staff, nice breakfast

The staff were extremely friendly. Happy to help with anything and the breakfast was quality.

I loved everything about this property!!! We stayed in Room 2 which was large in size and had the most beautiful wire of the water outside the big bay windows. The location was perfect - just a short walk from the ferry terminal and mere yards away from all the ships in Brodick including the Chocolate Shop, the gift shops, the bakery, the ice cream parlour, the Chinese and to Co-op. It also included a delicious breakfast of yogurt, granola and berries followed by a fry up made to your liking to include five items and toast served with various preserves and tea and coffee and orange or apple juice which all were offered to be topped up frequently. The scrambled eggs were the best I have ever tasted. The bed was comfortable. The bath was big. Complementary toiletries provided. I honestly can’t speak highly enough of Hunters Guest House. A special mention to staff member Brian who tended to us in the morning - so friendly, attentive and approachable. He made the stay for me. I oarticularly liked how he addressed us by our first names having never even met us. Such a personal touch. Any time I come to Arran now Hunters Guest House would be my first pick for accommodation. Thank you so much. You made our trip to the island so special.

We had a very nice stay, with a friendly welcome on arrival, and a nice breakfast to start each day, as well as accommodating dietary needs (one vegan). The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a good size.

The property was in a central location in Brodick, made it easy as a base for what I wanted to do. The rooms were fabulous and while not luxurious were certainly well maintained and comfortable.

The only thing would be a lack of evening facilities/food.
