Cuatro Caminos

Cuatros Caminos was a great place to stay in Sarria while walking The Camino. Laura was fantastic, very helpful and welcoming. Very good restaurant recommendation for dinner and we also enjoyed breakfast.

Good location

I arrived at the Pension at 13.30 hours to check in after walking for 6 hours on the Camino Way. The doors were locked and I could see my bag through the glass door. The bag had been delivered by Correos. I rang the telephone numbers on the door, 3 times but no-one answered. I also sent an email but I received no reply. By this time, it was nearly 14.00 hours and I was feeling annoyed and frustrated. I went into the business next door to the Pension and the young lady rang one of the telephone numbers on the door, using her own mobile phone. This call was answered and “Laura” said she would be there in 1 minute which turned out to be 10 minutes. I have found that checking into accommodation usually takes about 5 minutes but this one took 20 minutes. Why would I recommend anyone to use this accommodation?

Laura is the perfect host. The room is nicely arranged, you have some space to store stuff if you need. The bathroom is also of a nice size as well as having some extra storage space. I have to admit it was the nicest place I found along the way to Santiago! Well done!

it was over scented with air fresheners and diffusers : the comforter was visibly dirty

Great location for the train station. Very comfortable bed. Nice host.
