Enchanted Villa

The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The Miguels (father and son) were very attentive. The beds were very comfortable.

Location could not have been better! Fantastic! Breakfast was excellent. Miguel and Miguel were delightful hosts and could not do enough for us. We will definately be returning!

The breakfast was excellent, fresh juice, fruit, toasted bread with ham, cheese etc and a pastel de nata. The hosts, Miguel and his dad were very friendly and helpful and the location was great, except for the roadworks going on outside the front door but not the property’s fault. The roof terrace was also a bonus with comfy seating.

There was an unfortunate horrible smell coming up from the drains in the bathroom each morning. It may be linked to the road works going on outside but it was most unpleasant. There was also noise from the nearby restaurants well into the early hours so not quite as peaceful as we would have liked.

Miguel senior and junior were delightful. They served us excellent breakfasts and kept us entertained with their knowledge of Tavira and Portugal in general. This was a small place but very well located for bus and train stations. Lots of restaurants around too. The property had a lovely roof terrace which we enjoyed using. Fabulous little place and amazing people running it. Even took us to the station when we left. Miguel and Miguel thank you both for a wonderful time in Tavira.

Amazing location in the heart of the old town. Plenty of bars and eating places and the old ‘Roman’ bridge all only a few minutes’ walk. Very attentive hosts, eager to offer any help and to make sure we enjoyed our breakfasts, which were substantial. Tavira is a lovely base, with a train station to access Faro and other towns and beaches.

The room was large and airy, very clean, but this is a guest house so the room did not have some features you might expect in a hotel or apartment, specifically tea and coffee-making facilities or a heated towel rail. But these minor shortcomings by no means spoiled our stay, which we enjoyed enormously.

A lovely place to stay. Exceptionally clean, very comfortable and spacious room and bathroom. Miguel senior and Miguel junior were the best hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast every day was amazing and plentiful.

Some noise in the evenings from an adjacent building.

Everything...location...people...facilities...room was really spacious and the breakfast was amazing...nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay here again.
