La Mensa Ponderaria

Tutto bene. Centro di Tivoli. Camera completa di ogni comfort. Giovanni ci ha ricevuti con attenzione e simpatia. Ci ha fornito informazioni e il pass per ZTL. Parcheggio gratuito a 4 minuti a piedi. Villa D'Este, tempio di Ercole vincitore e villa gregoriana si raggiungono a piedi. Villa Adriana a 3 km. Ristoranti e pizzerie, negozi e botteghe, sempre a pochi passi. Non c'è la colazione, ma in camera troverete acqua, tisane e caffè che potrete prepararvi con bollitore e macchinetta. Oltre al climatizzatore c'è una ventola a soffitto. Dal vano scale, al piano di sopra si accede a un terrazzo. La camera viene sistemata ogni giorno. In bagno c'è tutto l'occorrente e anche di più.

Sarebbe consigliabile mettere qualche accorgimento ai buchi del lavandino e bidet, per evitare il rischio che possa cadere dentro qualcosa che potrebbe otturarli.

It's a nice stay in Tivoli. This accommodation is contrally located and easy to find. I slept well for my first night in Europe where there's 6-hr time difference. This room has nice sound insulation with which I am really impressed, although it's in an old building. Two guests stayed in the next room, but I never heard any sound from them. Its door and window are of high quality to block noise outside. It also has window blinds to make the room totally dark, so I had a nice sleep in.the afternoon after a tiresome flight. PS, AC worked well and there's a mini frigde to store my milk, plus a terrace to enjoy the view! The landlord was kind to store my luggage before check in and after check out. He gave me useful information on bus back to Roma. Villa d'Este is a must to visit in Tivoli! a masterpiece! Tivoli is a lovely!

Had to climb high stairs to reach the room, but the landlord helped me carry my luggage upstairs and downstairs, thanks!

The main thing that made my stay so welcome was Giovanni the owner. He couldn't do enough for me, from pickup and helping with heavy luggage (for a fee) to getting me to bus station and purchase of bus tickets to Villa Adriana, he made things so much easier. I liked that just around corner there was a great restaurant (opens early for coffee) staff very welcoming and food very good. They are also a bar and a tabouchi

The last lot of stairs as was located on the 3rd floor (no elevator).

Cute room with lovely window and view, in a quiet area of town. Rooftop terrace was nice.

Room was quite small.

Top floor studio apartment was quaint and very clean and well appointed with an eye for detail. Bed was comfortable. Giovanni was an excellent host and looked after us very well. For a stay in somewhere that has a taste of real Italy, highly recommend La Mensa Ponderaria, Tivoli.

Though used to climbing stairs in Italy, prepare for a little climb of three flights. Pack light. However, worth the little effort to the top.
