Dimora dell'Annunziata

Siamo stati 2 giorni a Matera e abbiamo alloggiato presso la dimora della Sig.ra Nunzia, persona squisita, gentile e disponibilissima. L'alloggio era pulitissimo e molto profumato, dotato di tutto il necessario. Letto e cuscini comodi. Dall'alloggio si raggiungono il centro e i Sassi a piedi. L'auto l'abbiamo lasciata nel parcheggio riservato, cosa molto utile. La coalizione all'italiana è compresa e servita in uno dei due bar convenzionati. Un plauso alla Sig.ra Nunzia e un grazie per la disponibilità e cortesia (ci ha fornito anche tutte le indicazioni per le visite da poter effettuare). Dovessimo tornare a Matera non avremmo dubbi su dove alloggiare.

Our stay was excellent, the space was spacious enough and very clean. Cold beverages, snacks and coffee were waiting in the room and put at our service. The room had an air conditioner, which was great in the hot weather. The street is quiet at night and not very trafficked in the morning. There is a parking space in a closed parking lot, which is a big plus for those who arrive here by car. It was close to the city center and Sassi neighborhoods. Ms Nunzia was extremely kind, giving us lots of information about the city, the events going on and good places to eat. We were very happy that we chose this place for our accommodation in Matera.

We choose this place because we had a car and it offered a dedicated free secure parking space, making it stress free. The place is one big spacious room with a good size bathroom. 12 minutes walk into the main square so very convenient.

We have stayed during our travels around Italy in several B&B's... breakfast options have been very good. Sadly here you get a voucher to have breakfast at a cake shop. The breakfast consisted of one small coffee and one small croissant handed to you with a napkin not even a plate. The next morning we didn't even bother to return and be insulted again, so we walked a couple of minutes up the road and paid for our own breakfast.

Lovely property. The host is exceptional and left lovely treats for us and very helpful with information we required. We highly recommend staying.

I very much enjoyed staying at Dimora dell'Annunziata in Matera. The location is a comfortable walking distance from the Centro Storico and Sassi areas. The parking was very close in a gated parking lot. The room was quite nice and quiet and had everything I needed. Nunzia was very attentive to any needs, a pleasure to meet and very knowledgeable about Matera. The one restaurant recommendation that I foillowed was excellent. Grazie mille Nunzia!

I should have stayed longer!

Very clean. Rather quiet. Located in a local neighbourhood - no tourists around. Typical Italien breakfast in a close-by bar with croissant and coffee. 15 min walking to the centre / Sassi - that's a minimum I want to do every day, and on the way you can see local life. I enjoyed that part every morning and evening. The owner was very kind and very helpful. The room has no real window of which you can look out. Light comes in from the street through the frosted glas door and one/two small sort of roof-windows. It is really cave-like, and you get a glimps of the living in the caves of Sassi. The owner could tell you more - if you ask.

Nunzia is a fantastic host who was most kind and very helpful in advising us of the sights to see. The apartment has its own secure parking place and is a gentle stroll into the main sights of Matera
