The view from cottage is amazing i will 100% be coming back

Bath water pressure wasn't great

Right from booking, the hosts were exceptional. The directions they gave were clear and easy to follow. The house is ontop of its own little valley, with excellent walks from the property and magnificent views at sunrise! The property has been extensively renovated and has all the things you need, whilst also retaining it's character and charm. The garden room was beautiful and the log burner made it so cosy, we will definitely be back!

The only two things would be that there is only a handheld shower over the bath, and the other thing would be that each bedroom is on a different level. Not a problem for most, but with a young child i was worried about them going down a set of stairs and then up another for the bathroom or if I stayed in the larger bedroom. They coped brilliantly with this, but it would be good to know before booking.

The property was in a beautiful location with amazing views. I already miss sitting on the sofa staring out the window, looking at the view. It was just as described, if not better. It was very clean, everything was provided for your stay. We stayed for Christmas and it's was all decorated perfectly ready for us to enjoy with our family. Easy to communicate with the owners, no trouble at all. The log fire was a lovely touch and kept us warm. Perfect place to get away from it all, enjoy the outdoors and just relax. I am hopefully booking again for next year.

Sadly, the wifi was down due to the storm, no fault to the owner at all. Signal is not the greatest, and the freeview kept cutting out. We didn't mind as we went for walks, had dvds, board games, etc, to keep us entertained. My back struggled with the bed we stayed in, but my partner was fine with it, so I think that was just me. I'd happily put up with that though to stay here.

Just amazing ..no real words to describe how wonderful it was ...from the secluded setting ..to the cosy warm cottage ...just a tonic for the soul ..away from the busy hectic world we live in..

That we only booked three days ..and we wished we could have stayed longer...

The house is beautiful and the veiws are stunning

The cottage is beautiful, and set in beautiful surroundings. It was clean and quiet, comfortable beds, plenty of living space for all of us.

The wifi wasn’t really up to handling 6 people’s devices plus the tv, there wasn’t much equipment for baking despite the lovely stove in the kitchen, an extra toilet would be useful as the cottage sleeps 6.
