Cosy, beautiful cottage with picturesque views. Everything we needed for a family getaway ! Was lovely to sit around the log burner and play many of the board games that were at the property with the family.

There was nothing not to like. The property was true to its description and pictures as advertised.

Like the surrounding view and very quite area. And the warm and cosy rooms in the cold weather.

The property should have one more toilet, may be a little one.

The location and house are beautiful and were perfect for our needs. We were having a small family reunion holiday and we couldn't have asked for a better, cosier spot. The views on a clear day are spectacular, and even on a cloudy day the misty forest is really beautiful. The layout of the house is really well considered with lots of space for us all to be together. In the evenings we loved gathering in the cosy sun-room, playing games, watching a movie or just chatting. We even had the wood stove going a couple of nights, there was plenty of kindling and wood prepared for us. Lunches and dinners were easy to prepare, cook and enjoy in the well equipped and spacious kitchen. We made good use of the big table with lots of lovely homely meals and shared the odd bottle of wine or two. It was an excellent week and we were sad to leave - we definitely want to go back!

One night the smoke alarms kept going off for no reason, but Eva came and fixed it pretty quickly. The mattresses could be a bit better. Very minor complaints that shouldn't put anyone off staying in this beautiful house.

The setting, the cosiness and the friendly can do attitude of the host. Room sizes, log fires, underfloor heating, toiletries, linen, furniture, kitchen and equipment. A very rounded package with ample parking. Ideal for couples and families.

As it turns out, we do not like slipper baths (which might be our age).

Bryngollau is a very unique location. It's beautifully tranquil. No neighbours, no traffic, only the nature. An ideal retreat for someone who needs a little while away from hustle and bustle of a big city.

There are no shops and other facilities around so having a car is essential. Apart from this, nothing. The fan in the bathroom was a bit noisy.

Lovely cottage with a beautiful garden and surroundings. Nice and quiet. Both hosts were great and very easy to get in touch with!

A shower instead of sitting in the bath would be a big plus!
