SeaGate Bungalows

We loved SeaGate, the owners were wonderful and great fun to be with. They (and the rest of the staff) took great care of us and were very kind. The snorkelling right off the bay in front of our bungalow was spectacular

Many colourful reef fish species, trumpetfishes, box fishes, turtle, stingray and lionfish..., etc. are surprising me in this secrete snorkelling spot just outside Seagate. The room is very clean and comfortable, making me feel like at home. Free WiFi is also pretty good inside room, at balcony and restaurant that I did not expect in such natural environment before. Borja & Yuyun can assist all you want in the island such as transportation arrangement, watching dolphin/ snorkelling, renting car, and activity information......, etc..

Too far from Hong Kong that I cannot visit every weekend.

Keep in mind that it's located some distance from the town, could be amazing if you want privacy and a peacful ambiance, like we did.

A super quiet location overlooking the bay, in a natural place. The owner was very polite and accommodating, finding me a room although I had picked up the wrong date! The lady owner was great to talk to, but her Argentinian husband complained (jokingly) that she was talking too much... The food was excellent and plentiful, a nice change from Sumatra on a local side. There are some lovely butterflies in the garden.

I was recommended a walk to the waterfall, upriver in the jungle. Sadly it was full of trash and uninviting, despite the noisy occurrence of flying foxes in a big tree. The village did not have much appeal at all.

The food is awesome, plus the stunning ocean view!

Everything was wonderful. The hosts, the staff, the quality of the accomodation, The position. Nothing was a problem. A place to truly do whatever you want with no worries whatsoever. Restaurant good with a beautiful view. Genuinely lovely, responsible and helpful owners. They were always there to help you.

We had a great time at SeaGate! The Bungalows are really comfortable, there is free water and tea and the sea view is amazing. Also the food at the restaurant is super tasty and all the staff are very nice. Borja gave us a lot of tips what to do on the island, which was really helpful.

I do like the view.. the atmosphere there.. and the mostly me n my partner like is the owner!
