Staff very helpful. Lovely surroundings.

No hot water in kitchenette - Had to boil kettle to wash up. Towels were a bit crispy!

Remote location, very quiet and peaceful. Very friendly owners and a nice cafe. Cafe only opens in the late morning so you'll need to organise breakfast if you are planning an early start. Good location to explore the area, but requires a car.

You definitely need your own vehicle to reach the place.

The host was very welcoming and friendly and gave us lots of tips about trips in the area. The beds were very comfortable and the whole feel of the place was cosy and homely. We had a peaceful and relaxing time and slept really well. The carrot cake in the cafe is the best I have ever tasted! The views from the bedrooms was delightful. Our highlights in the area were the evening walk from Craster to Dunstanburgh, Alnwick Castle and Bamburgh castle. We wished we could have stayed longer!
