Everything! Aayu is such an amazing and beautiful host. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable with a lovely outdoor space. The breakfast was delicious and massive! The location is close to the beach and restaurants, highly recommend this guest house.

Warm host who went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She allowed us to check in early. Superb breakfast, tasty and large. She prepared a lovely takeaway breakfast as we had to travel to the airport early the next day. Room was comfortable, good ac, ceiling fan, fridge and powerful shower. Location was superb, just back from the beach. The apartment had a lovely garden to eat breakfast. Everything was superb.

The host is really friendly, everything was super clean, exceptional breakfast, the room is really comfortable and clean, the location is waking distance to the beach! Good value for money! Wifi is available but it’s slow in general in that area I am sure it was highest possible speed. If I ever come back to Bentota I’ll definitely stay there!

Aayu's Guest is an excellent location, and the soul of this guesthouse is Aayu (the owner) who makes you feel at home, responsive to any request, very helpful, very friendly. The location is clean, close to the beach, a few minutes' walk away you can find places to eat and shop.

Aayu’s Guest is ideally located for the beautiful, sandy and clean Bentota beach and Bentota railway station. It is a 5 minute walk over the track from the guest house and onto the beach. Set in a very small and quiet settlement with just the rumble of the occasional train. The property is run by the lovely Aayu, a lady who is constantly smiling and so helpful in every respect. She is a very house-proud lady. The rooms and the property itself are immaculately clean with large beds and beautiful bathrooms with good showers. The beds have mosquito nets, not that we saw any of these creatures. Aayu’s breakfasts were superb. She varied the egg portion daily between scrambled and omelette, all very tasty. Ample toast, tea, coffee and fruit juice. The fruit platters for each person were huge and she insisted that, if we couldn’t eat it all, we save it for later in the day. Pineapple, star fruit, bananas, mango, papaya, mangosteen, lychee. Aayu’s pet dog is a very large and very friendly 2 year old German Shepherd who is called Brave - so you can be assured of total security which was not needed anyway. Aayu arranged our final transfer to Bandaranaike airport with a charming neighbour at a very reasonable price. We all thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day stay and I feel sure you would too if you booked this guest house. The warmth shown by Aayu to her guests is just wonderful.

Aayu is a very welcoming and friendly host. Her spotless, pretty guest house is five minutes from a fabulous beach and plenty of great restaurants by the railway line. The breakfast was delicious, we had eggs, toast and a huge plate of tropical fruit each. If you’re visiting Bentota, stay with Aayu.
