"Impossible to evaluate"

We are not able to evaluate Villino Tortorelli because when we got there there was no wifi available (a problem with the company supplier, we were told). They then moved us to another apartment, much better, with perfect wifi.

The "online check-in" was very tiring. I had to open a link and create an account with username and password to start the check-in process. After answering many questions, I had to take photos of our IDs/Passports (step 1 of 3). But then it would not allow you to go from step 1 to step 2. I tried to "check-in online" for 2 days, and it didn't work. I kept receiving emails and Booking messages saying that the check-in COULD ONLY BE DONE ONLINE. In the end I decided to ring what seems to be an admin agency and they kindly made an "exception" and did our check in by sending photos of our IDs by whatsapp. The lady who helped us was very kind though. She also helped us to move to another accomodation when Villino Tortorelli had no wifi available. The other place we were put on was VERY NICE, VERY CENTRALLY LOCATED and we are happy with the solutions we were given when Villino Tortorelli didn't work.

The room was very clean and comfortable, located in a quiet district of Matera yet in a walking distance to the town's main square. The building itself had a special atmosphere due to the old architecture.

Everything was nice and clean. If I should give one piece of feedback then it would be the fact that the regulating water's temperature in a show wasn't entirely intuitive.

easy to find, parking right next to room. Spacious room with extra flair (high ceiling, castle look)

location & complicated online check in process to get access code. Useless kitchenette, would be better not fo have it & make room even bigger.
