Absolutely strategic location and convenient for walking, biking and sight seeing all the fun, food, art and entertainment served by jonker walk and jonker night market. A bit sceptical when reading the review beforehand about bed bugs, smelly, rats and mosquito. I beg to differ. No bed bugs. Fresh clean bed sheets. No rats and mosquitoes. Air cond runs smoothly. 2 ample ceiling fans. Good lighting for lights and yellow lightings to create calming ambience for the whole space upstairs. Simple antics and artistic decor. Plenty of plug points is a bonus. Will definitely coming back.

I need to act like Macgyver and close the ventilation hole with towel and stuck the toilet paper roll to pin the towel so that I can use the bathroom more comfortably

The location is very strategic, just few minutes to the jonker street.

1. The floor is not clean still dusty. 2. The toilet is scary because there is a wall that full of hole and u can see through the hole, i am not sure is that a store room behind there so it feels like someone is watching you when you showering. 3. The water flow quite small. 4. The kitchen is quite dirty also when u open the cabinet there are many empty cans inside the cabinet.

Location.

In a word-DIRTY. "Looks" similar to internet pictures BUT very unhygienic. Bedsheets and pillowcases not changed. Dusty bedframes. Sticky floor (dirty mop at the back of the unit probably used to mop the floor). Fridge-not clean. You can smell the "Ghost of Tenants Past" as well as the smell of rats (heard them scurrying in the wall). The person in charge of check-in is very rude and has poor guest relation skills. We were stuck in a jam and informed her that we would not be able to make it for the 3 pm check-in time. She was impatient and said that we should have come early as the roads would close. On the website, they mention that you can inform them regarding your arrival time and that they will make the necessary arrangements. Not true. She then said that she'll be there between 6.30 pm-7 pm. We arrived around 5 pm and decided to have a drink before heading there. When we called her (at around 6.20 pm) she told us that she's on a break. We decided to walk around and got back there at 7 pm. We tried to call her a couple of times but couldn't get through which is when we called the owner. She arrived soon after and was again rude saying that we were late and asking if we had called her Boss (naturally, that's what we did when we couldn't reach her). The only thing good about the place is the location (but you'll have to bear the loud music everytime the trishaws go past). Not at all recommended unless you don't mind rolling around in FILTH. Wish we had seen the other review where the tenant mentioned that the place was dirty before booking this place. NEVER AGAIN.

Prime Location as it is walking distance to Jonker Street. The staff is friendly.

Do not have parking but there is a open parking place along the same street. (In front of the Casa del Rio Melaka) RM 6 per entry/ RM 12 overnight.

The Cleaning Lady is VERY KIND. The owner accommodate our early check-in, though we have to wait for a while because the cleaning lady has to clean the room before we check-in. Location VERY GOOD, walking distance to Jonker street.

Creepy toilet with ventilation holes which seems like you can see that there's another room besides the toilet (which is not part of our room). AC not cool. maybe because it's in the center of the touristy area, there's loud music (maybe in a car or something) that passed by every 1 -2 hour. The wall in the room are damp and flaky.
