The Cottage

Allotjament amb tot el necessari per passar uns dies a Bristol. Habitació i bany molt confortables, entorn molt tranquil sense soroll de cotxes. A 5 minuts de dues parades d'autobús, de diversos supermercats i farmàcies i també té dues cafeteries aprop. El barri és molt tranquil, ple de zones verdes on fer un picnic i la propietària va ser molt amable.

The cottage was light and spacious with all the amenities you could wish for. The outdoor seating area was a lovely private space. Having a secure parking space was a bonus which also made it very easy for unloading/ loading the car. The location was ideal as near the university and walking distance to many bars and restaurants. It was also on a quiet street so we were not disturbed by noise at night. The bed was comfortable

There was nothing not to like

It has everything you need for a self catering stay, perfect for two, near to restaurants and has parking (although quite tight!) Very clean, with a very friendly host who will do anything to make your stay better. We visited the Rum distillery (dead man's fingers) and it was brilliant, and only about a 5 minute walk away. We left the car parked and walked most places, it is abit uphill from the centre near the harbour, but we managed it fine (about 20-30 min walk)

Only thing was a drain smell that came from the bathroom could be quite strong. We did leave the extractor on one day and this helped.

It was great to be able to get the no.8 bus from Temple Meads station to the Cottage and explore Clifton area on foot.

The location is great! The property is very bright. It was very clean when we got there. The bed was comfortable. The amenities are thorough. The owner is very accomodating.

Some parts of the property need a bit of work and fixing. But they did not affect the quality of the overall stay.

La propriétaire du Cottage est charmante et l'appartement est tout simplement formidable. Idéalement placé, avec une place de parking dans un quartier où il est impossible de se garer, d'une propreté impeccable, le Cottage est une perle !

Great location, spacious lounge/ kitchen, secure safe parking and nice little outside seating area.

Bad smell from the drains in bathroom which if you didn't keep bathroom door shut it went into bedroom. Shame, as nice bathroom with decent shower. Window in the bedroom couldn't be locked. And would have been nice to have tea and coffee available or at least let you know you have to provide your own.

Location was great in delightful grounds and it was so useful having parking on site. Quiet and lovely furnishings - very spacious and had everything we needed. Would definitely return if we knew the issue below had been resolved.

Unfortunately the shower drain needs to be sorted as the smell is pretty off-putting🙁 it would have made a real difference to our stay. Directions on booking.com were confusing.com!!

Bed was comfortable

It’s good that there is off street parking but would be better if the visitor space wasn’t so hard to get into. Very bad smell of sewer in the ensuite which is right next to the bedroom. Mould in the shower and a very mouldy cleaning object left in the shower. No tea, coffee, or milk. Dishes and cutlery looked poorly cleaned. Very poor and I cannot recommend this property at all.
