The Dial House Guest House

Fantastic location, spotlessly clean room and perfect for trip to the John Radcliffe. From the time I booked the guest house couldn’t have been more helpful. Offering to let my husband wait in the lounge area if room wasn’t ready for an early check-in (which it was). They gave us a fan for the room as weather was very hot and we were staying after I had a day surgery cardiac procedure. Lovely garden and very peaceful considering it’s located on a main road. Breakfast selection was good including option for eggs. I was able to have tea and toast in our room. Overall, a lovely stay despite the extreme heat.

The fan helped keep the room cool but I can imagine it would be quite uncomfortable in extreme heat. We were able to park in the car park but if there were several guests with cars I’m not sure what the alternative would have been.

It was good for walking into the city and had parking

It served its purpose it was clean and comfortable and accessible. We did not have breakfast so unable to comment. It needs attention to shower head as does not hold suitable position and shower en-suite it small and steams up. Fire door on corridor needs a handle.

Breakfast , was very welcome at 6.30am , the lady went out of her way to help us , really a good Lady . The quality of food was basic .

Parking , last one in has hardly any room . Duvet in twin room does not cover an ordinary person . We are not teenagers , really too mean and only one blanket in the wardrobe , so one client is uncovered .

They friendly, clean and good standard of facilities.

Breakfast is continental only.

A friendly housekeeper, good beds, close parking space. The bus to the city was right in front of the door and it took not even 20 minutes to town. Pubs to eat quite good were close, too

You can be dropped off at the front door by riding Bus 400 from the train station. Clean, comfortable.

Frühstück, abgepackt in Folie, Toast aus der Tüte, unfreundlicher Saal; Zimmer war ein Korridor mit Zwei Betten hintereinander und noch 70cm zur Wand. Kleiner eingelassener Schrank, keine Gelegenheit für Hemd und Hose, keine Idee wie die guten Bewertumgen zustande gekommen sind

Location for the bus stops was great. Breakfast, Nice to get hot eggs (cooked any style).

Breakfast, could have had soft easy listening music; let people sit where they want (& then put room # on the table for accoyntability);
