super nice and helpful owner, at the begining he gave us bananas from his own plantation and avocados! also couple of sugestions where to drink and shopping, if i go to Madera one more time i would choose this spot again ❤️

The apartment is located in a quiet area and is surrounded by banana plantations and just a few other houses. There is a nice ocean view in the distance and there are bananas growing just outside the door. There is also a nice terrace with chairs and a table where you can chill. Cooking basics are available. Nice big shower. The host greeted us and gave us bananas from the plantation and a small madeira souvenir. There is also a washing machine in the common space available which was nice, but it's old and doesn’t wash very well.

There was lots of dust on the furniture (the picture I attached shows dust on the table) as well as dust and hairs on the floor (picture attached), it seemed like the apartment hadn't been properly cleaned for a long time, that made us very uncomfortable. Small hairs in the bed linen as well. The frying pan is very old and the teflon coating has come off, so whatever you cook on it becomes stuck to it.

Good view, bananas on welcome, accommodating when we asked for a second fan. Lovely local bar down the road. Good bus route.

Bathroom smells from the pipes, bed sheets were damp, a bit out of the town if you don't have a car, very hot at night, No A/C, bugs in the room if you open the windows.
