Amazing location and lovely host!

Old town location, view, kindness

Too noisy, bathroom is extra tiny

The location in the centre of the old town is beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the wooden ceiling in the room was charming. We enjoyed the steep stairs but can imagine they would be tough for some visitors. Everything was clean.

The communication was frustrating (to be fair, the owner was away, which may account for this) - we had to ask for each piece of information (check-in info, key box code, WiFi password, check-out info) separately. The layout of the room was not terribly comfortable - fridge positioned in the wardrobe, so minimal hanging space and everything we did hang got very hot, no curtains in the windows (holes in the wall suggested there might once have been), no cushions on the hard wooden chairs, minimal bedding (sorry, but even at the height of summer it’s nice to offer more than a single sheet), seemingly one hair dryer for the entire house. It would have been helpful to have been informed of luggage transport services available - we figured it out in time for check-out but check-in was a bit stressful without it. More than one set of keys would have been useful. Boutique in the name of this property feels slightly misleading having stayed there. We still had a lovely time in Rovinj, but will stay elsewhere next time.

The location was good.

The steep stairs to climb. The room was quite basic, small bathroom and was was over priced for what you get.

The location is impeccable, right in the heart of old town of Rovinj. Fairly large room. AC worked quite well. Parking is a problem, which is a characteristic issue if you are staying in the old town area, which is why I do not mark it as "disadvantage". I would definitely go back and stay here if I ever went back.

Maybe adding a kettle would make it even better. Other than that, it was quite nice and problem-free.
