くまの蔵 Kumanokura inn Storehouse

The detached house is nice. We really appreciate the host’s hospitality, he offered a drive to and from the train station for us. The place is clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. Host also provided free bicycles.

The house is clean and cozy. Close to the convenience store and walkable to the JR station. The host is very warm & helpful. Highly recommended for trips to Shingu!

Everything is so perfect!

A great place to stay. Koji was so helpful, picked us up from the station and took us back when we left. Everything in the property was well thought out and we could not have asked for more. Very comfortable and clean and we thoroughly recommend it.

This place is utterly charming—cozy enough to ward off the chill of a winter night. The owner is a delight, and borrowing bikes in the morning to explore the town was the perfect way to spend a few hours. The shower? Immaculately clean. The kitchen is just right for whipping up a quick breakfast, though attempting a three-course dinner might be pushing it.

A word of caution: the steps to the mezzanine sleeping area are alarmingly steep, making late-night trips to the bathroom a bit of an adventure—not exactly ideal for everyone!

Spacious space that housed 5 guests. Kitchen was well appointed & there's table for the guests to congregate around. Car can be parked outside the property.

Stairs outside the door with first step going down starting earlier than expected visually with a high potential of causing a fall. This is due to visual Q that steps normally would start after the door frame ends. In this case, the steps started going down before the end of the door frame. This has been conveyed to the owner.
