Host was very responsible. Place was very cosy and had everything you need! There was free welcome snack and water. Walking distance to all the good food and even a huge pharmacy.

"Nice Japanese place to stay in Shingu"

Traditional Japanese hotel in Shingu. We booked a separate "villa" - essentially a small house, 2 floors, all for us. Walking distance from the station, very nice and helpful host, close to all interesting places in Shingu.

Would be nice to have breakfast, but we found other options. There is a convenience store very close by.

"A great place to enjoy the Japanese layout"

The owner was very polite and received us very kindly. The room was also very stylish and beautifully decorated. The facility are also very well equipped. The courtyard outside is also very nice.

It was originally thought to be a standalone two-story villa, but in reality, it’s just one floor with a loft. This is a house converted from the owner’s warehouse in their backyard. It’s a little bit smaller than imagined.

"The best stay we had in Japan"

Everything! The best place we stayed during our trip in Japan. The owner was so nice, he picked us up and drove us to the station again when we had to leave. The inn is great. Very comfortable, clean, spacious. Very quiet and nice area. The owners thought of everything. The free bikes were also nice.

A wonderful place to rest between long walks on the Kuman Kodo trail. A superbly comfortable, clean and lovely house with all the amenities we needed - excellent hot shower, free bikes to explore Shingu, washing machine/dryer, fridge and kitchen unit, super comfortable futon mattress beds and a big telly with Netflix! But most of all, the owner Koji, is so wonderfully accommodating, answering and helping with all our many questions and requests and going out of his way to recommend top places to eat, driving us to the station and offering us taxi services in and out of Shingu. We couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you
