くまの蔵 Kumanokura inn Storehouse

The guesthouse was beautiful. It was clean, convenient, and had every amenity. The host was outstanding and I was very pleased that he picked us up from the train station. It is the best guesthouse I have stayed at and would definitely return.

We were overwhelmed by the kindness Koji-san showed us! The warehouse is a beautiful little apartment and we would have loved to stay even longer.

Time went by too fast :D no seriously, we had nothing to complain about.

A wonderful place with the most thoughful and caring host. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The converted warehouse is equipped with everything you need while traveling and the owner put a lot of thought into every detail of the inn. It is very cozy with japanese-style beds right under the roof. Everything was perfectly clean. It is situated so that you can reach all of Shingu‘s sights, as well as the JR station quickly. There were rental bikes available for free. We would definitely book this accomodation again.

Very nice host. House is very clean and you can get everything you need in the house. Two nights visit is just perfect for a family trip.

After walking the Kumano Kodo, the free bikes were very much appreciated - Shingu is very bike friendly. The owner was extremely helpful - letting us check in early, making dinner reservations, and even dropping us off at the train station, in the morning.

I was very fortunate to be able to reserve this room. As the name suggests, it is a converted warehouse, but the space inside is very spacious and comfortable, and up to four people should be able to relax. The owner of the house was very warm, and even made a special trip to pick us up at the station, and provided information including restaurants, attractions, etc., which was very helpful for our trip.

The house is clean and tidy. You can do the laundry there. A convenient shop is very close to the house. Everything you need is well-prepared by the host. The host is polite and friendly.

This is a beautiful house in Shingu, it has everything you need, we spent 3 great days here. There are really beautiful mountains, temples and forests in the area, good for hiking and sightseeing. The host is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it to others.
