I liked the hostess’s hospitality, the comfortable bed, and the air conditioner the most.

The toilet was a bit uncomfortable, with little space.

Everything was great.

Clean room, good shower. Very large wardrobe. Filtered water available at all times. Selection of pastries, yoghurt, fruit juice, tea and coffee at breakfast. On same street as ancient theatre and very near Benedictine monastery and university. Good eateries around the corner from St Nicholas church. The owner spoke only Italian but we managed to communicate well despite my limited knowledge, and she was kind to wait for us to arrive late from the airport, and answered all calls and messages.

Rather out of the way and desolate, if walking at night but fine during the day. Very, very small room (upstairs). Could barely squeeze by between wardrobe and bed. A smaller wardrobe would be better. Small window with grills and only one chair. No desk or table. Gas stove tops in common kitchen downstairs. No electric kettle. More information about buses, taxis etc for visitors would have been useful. Breakfast choices available not to our taste. and cold by 9am. Having someone there during breakfast is essential. Some fruit, veg, and cereal would make a difference. The hand soap ran out after the first night. Thankfully, we'd brought a small bar of soap. On the whole, it was satisfactory but a bit overpriced. Nevertheless, it could easily be a much better, more hospitable place with a few improvements.

Owner Anna was very kind and helpful. She brought fresh pastry for breakfast every morning with different choices each time! The room was cosy, and the location was excellent! Last day when we had an early flight Anna gave us breakfast to take and accompanied us to the airport in a taxi she ordered for us.

The bed was a bit squeaky, and if you rent a car, you might not find a parking space in front every time, especially if you have a bigger car. Also, as we are early birds, the breakfast was not always on time at 7:30.
