Pensiunea Delta Dunarii

Room was nice and clean but had this heavy smell of smoking. Breakfast was excellent although it is not included in the room rate. Location is excellent.

The view from the room as it went to the back of the building. Not too bad as I stayed there just for one night, if staying for more then recommendable to get a room with the front view.

I arrived off the incoming train, and walked to the Pension which took around five minutes, its reasonably easy to find. The receptionist booked me in, and my room was spacious, comfortable, the right temperature, and there was plenty of hot water for a well needed shower. Superb accommodation and I'd definitely stay again.

Only a very minor gripe, and its very rude of me to travel to Romania, but speak more or less none of the language, and expect people I'm meeting to be able to speak mine! Sadly the receptionist although polite and efficient spoke almost no English, and I had to use google translate to solve the language barrier. This wouldn't put me off staying here again, and I must improve my spoken Romanian to avoid this problem in future!

a clean room with cotton sheets overlooking the Danube in a rough area very near the water port and bus and train terminals with a good restaurant. perfect for travellers. nice polite staff.

It was a convenient location. It had a cute, little balcony and very nice air conditioning. The sink and toilet were quite new.

The water had been shut off for 2-3 hours when we arrived due to a problem with the line. They made us purchase water during that time if we wanted a drink which we did. The beds were incredibly hard and uncomfortable.
