Yanbaru no mori -SEVEN Hotels and Resorts-

The little cottage, perfectly equipped, is in the heart of Yanbaru forest, but closed to the coast & villages like kunigami. Perfect to explore the area & enjoy nature. Yurimi, the owner, is very friendly. She really help us making our stay more enjoyable! We could have stay for a month!

The place inside is tiny, but really cute. No space thoug for streeching or doing yoga. I missed some openned space outdoor, but it's also just amazing to see that much green around.

The location is incredible. Hearing all the birds, geckos and insects was amazing. The setting is stunning. The hostess was welcoming and kind. Was great to be in the forest.

Completely out of the way. Got the best sleep of my trip the first night there because of the rainforest sounds and the rain. The cabin was also very cute.

Accessing it is a little nerve wracking because of the tight, rocky driveway which freaked me out because I was in a rental car. Also pretty difficult to locate at night, but that was alright because the host came out to guide us once we found the driveway. Also: not for the faint of heart if you are sensitive to bugs and critters. This is to be expected because you’re in the rainforest, but be prepared to encounter some large bugs.

The location was great, and the couple who looked after us were lovely.

What a wonderful little cabin in the rainforest. The host and his daughter were very friendly and we received a tasty pudding and juice on arrival. So quiet and beautiful surrounded by untouched nature.

If you are scared of bugs, this isnt the place for you!
