Confluentia H&A - Believe It or Not Apartments

Everything about this apartment was wonderful. Comfortable beds, lovely fresh linen, well equipped kitchen. The terrace was lovely to sit outside & have a drink. Location was great - walking distance to everything. Loved the personal extras that we received. Close to supermarket & laundry. The host Rui was extremely helpful & friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay again & I recommend everyone to stay here. A great view of Coimbra just around the corner.

Everything was perfect.

The apartament was everything we needed for a stay of 5 days, very clean, comfortable beds, nice and very well equipped kitchen area. The outside yard was perfect for a breath of fresh air, which we considered a huge bonus. The two bathrooms were much appreciated (two adults and a child). We enjoyed the location also.

Good location, walking distance to Coimbra historic centre and major sites. Supermarket nearby, some restaurants in walking distance too. Lovely view from the kitchen. Very friendly, welcoming and responsive host. The apartment is cute, nicely furnished and decorated, but is very compact - the living room, dining and kitchen area felt sometimes a bit crammed for the 4 of us.

The bathrooms are extremely small, with tiny sinks where you can't even wash your hands without water going over the sides and on the floor. Also nowhere to put toiletries, no hooks to hang up towels. We also had other issues with both bathrooms: in one of them the shower door wasn't sealed properly so every time someone had a shower the floor ended up being flooded. The host organised to fix it but it didn't completely resolve the problem. The other bathroom had a very unpleasant smell from the drains. The host tried to deal with it but the smell kept appearing on and off during our 3 night stay. Having read other reviews and judging by the plug in airfresheners it seems to be a known problem. Parking was a bit of a challenge as well. It's a shame as we really enjoyed Coimbra otherwise.

Very nice accommodation, well decorated and spotless. A great view to see the old city of Coimbra! A lots of lovely details in the room! The hosts are kind and super helpful! Walking distance to the supermarket Lidl and you can buy all necessities there.

The shower in one bath room has water leakage issue.

The accommodation was well equipped and clean. Lovely view of Coimbra from the apartment.The staff went above and beyond what was expected of them to help us when we needed it. I can recommend this apartment for a visit to Coimbra.

Personally there was nothing we didn't like.

A cozy apartment in a historic location, about 30 minutes by walk from the city center. The host was very helpful, and communication was easy and efficient.

Location excellent. View of historical centre of city and university was SPECIAL.
