Confluentia H&A - Believe It or Not Apartments

The host was exceptionally hospitable. She met us at the property and reviewed all the property had to offer. She arranged a tour for us and pointed out restaurants and places to see. The location was nice as it was quiet and walking distance to a grocery store. It was a little further to go into town but we managed.

I enjoyed the location but it was a little difficult to find; however, the host was extremely helpful and met us.

Nice view and good for family stay. Host is very friendly and overall, it's comfortable.

We booked two apartments for two families. Water leaking from the bath tubs in two apartments. Bad smell from the toilets of two apartments near the entrance. Suggest to take out some decorations to provide more space.

Great location. It was a quiet neighbourhood and an easy walk to town centre. Nice little cafes and shops nearby The host was very helpful and on hand to help with any issues we had.

No breakfast provided, but everything worked in the full service kitchen. Great small apartment (3 bdrm, 2 bath) in the Santa Clara neighborhood across the river from old Coimbra and the university. TV worked, and good channel selections. Built-in electric heaters were fine, even in November. Heated towel racks in both bathrooms. Quiet - never heard any noise from outside. House comes with an interesting history lesson about the lime kiln used for nearby ancient buildings. Host Miguel met us with the key, which was nice. There is a nice terrace, which we did not use, because the weather was cold and rainy. Good supermarkets nearby, good coffee and bakery a couple of blocks away.

Parking was a challenge - but we managed. Apartment is on an ancient, narrow alley; go slowly, and it's fine. My partner thought the small bathroom sinks were too small. I didn't mind. Bit of a sewer gas smell in one bathroom.

The apartment was beautiful and comfortable. I also loved the story behind the name of the apartment. The view was spectacular and the hosts very friendly and gave us excellent advice on nearby attractions and restaurants. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay in Coimbra.
