Herdwick Guest House

Good breakfast, friendly hosts, convenient location which was a short walk to everything, good value, nice and clean, early check in if needed at no extra cost which is normally unheard of

We had a lovely time staying at the Herdwick, and Andy made us feel welcome and that nothing was too much trouble, we immediately knew that we would enjoy our stay. Our room was really nice, clean and comfortable, in a very quiet location, loved the extra touches such as being able to get fresh milk from the fridge. Breakfast was excellent, set us up for the day ahead, and we will definitely stay here again

Everything was lovely, parking is hit and miss, right outside, but able to park nearby and wasnt a problem

there wasn’t anything that we didn’t like, hence we’ve booked to return

We were able to let ourselves in [had the details of the key card] so that was handy. The host was very nice and we only met the him at breakfast times, which was good, as one guest houses we stayed at the host seemed to be hovering around, waiting for us. Breakfast was always excellent, just what you needed for a day out walking the hills. The room was slightly small, but we found enough space for all our stuff. All in all Good value, would stay there again.

Not sure, all seemed fine to me.
