The Bird Hide - rustic luxury by the water

Awesome experience. So peaceful and relaxing along side the lagoon. Very comfortable and cosy in the shepherds hut. Great kitchen and shower facilities that were immaculately presented. Elaine and John

This place was magic and peaceful. We loved it. It is a great place just to get away and have some time alone. Its also close to beaches and walks so we enjoyed the ability to get out and about.

The WiFi was not good.

Fantastic setting, great facilities and beautiful area.

Our stay was perfect, Emily nicely greeted us, the bird hide is really cute with a nice view on the lagoon and all the birds, all areas are spotless (bathroom, kitchen etc..). We stayed 2 nights but will have enjoyed staying more. From the bird hide you can walk around the Hawksbury lagoon to the beautiful beach of Waikouaiti, absolutely gorgeous.

Being able to lie down in the bed and look out over the lagoon and listen to the wildlife..geese, ducks and so on. Otherwise, very peaceful!

Not much.. it's what it is. Perfect for the right people.

Beautiful spot, quiet and relaxing with sound of birds in the background, bathroom is separated from the room, but it’s not even a big deal, few steps away. pretty cool shower, nice water pressure and hot water.
