The Ayur Villa

It was a pleasure staying at the Ayur Villa. We booked to stay here very last minute (30 minutes before arriving!), but upon arrival we were welcomed by extremely friendly staff and a lovely, clean room. The room size was larger than expected (with a dressing room included) and the bed was very comfortable. The food at Ayur Villa was second to none and allowed us to try well cooked, traditional Keralan food. Ayur Villa is only a short walk away from the beach which meant we did not have to rely on taxis everyday. The ayurvedic massages were extremely relaxing and great to experience. A big shout out to Vishnu who was incredibly hospitable - he was there whenever needed and helped to make our stay enjoyable. It was lovely to meet Anjali and Anish as well (the owners of Ayur Villa) who were keen to make our stay as memorable as possible. Overall, we had a great, relaxing time at the Ayur Villa and we would recommend to all. Look forward to coming back one day!

It would be lovely if the pool was slightly larger so that guests could swim in it. This would add to the relaxing environment.

We loved the place; extremely comfortable, authentic with an amazing blend of traditional Kerala furnishing and modern amenities. The place and staff was so nice that we didn’t feel like leaving it at all…Highly recommended!!!!

Everything was perfect!!!!

The staff were amazingly helpful and super patient. The rooms were huge, though to be fair, my parents and my 2 children could have stayed in a single room with the connecting twin room. The team accomodated our food preferences as I was travelling with 2 elderly strict vegetarians and 2 young children under the age of 8. I would viist again with a large group of friends for some sight seeing and treatments, but I would not bring my young kids back there.

The size and the amount of people that the rooms can accomodate should be open - and upto to the person booking the room. I felt that booking.com forced me to book the 3 rooms, while 2 rooms would have sufficed I would love to see a list of all the things that are on offer at the villa and that the villa team could help with. The info was shared when requested, but if I did not ask, I did not get. It was not particularly child friendly. My 3 year old and 8 year old were accomodated - but there were no toys, books or anything for them to do at all.
