Waiheke Island Guesthouse

Great value and quite a peaceful location, and appreciate the included cereal and coffees :)

Not sparkling clean but good enough for a night or two. Could do with a fan in the room, though possibly one would've been made available if we asked

The Guesthouse is a quirky bach style experience. The beds are comfortable and clean and it has a peaceful setting. Access and parking are difficult unless you are able bodied...long steep driveway and multiple stairs off a narrow hillside road. This is no problem to us and is clearly described in the advertising so not a surprise. It is great value for money.

It was so comfortable! I loved my stay. Everything was as described, and the room was exceptional. The grounds are lovely, and the guesthouse itself has so much personality! The owners were great and friendly. The location is really close to bus stops or I just walked the area is so nice!

Always a pleasure.. staying at one of the last guest houses that truly reflects the 'Old Waiheke', experience.. Will always go back there and situated so close to the Saturday Markets. See you all again soon.

There was not much to like about the place. It’s a very old, dirty, smelly with a lot of cob webs everywhere. It says private bathroom but it’s not and have to go down the staircase.

As mentioned, it’s a very old and dirty place. I will never be coming back here. The kitchen is tiny and smells so bad that you wouldn’t wanna water there forget about cooking. It looks like an asian lady sort off staying there long term and the refrigerator and most of the kitchen was filled with her stuff. There was a cheap bottle of milk and even cheaper cereal for breakfast, don’t be fooled by high stat rating on bookings. This place is a shit hole.

Awesome rustic vibes and very comfy, would 100% go again!

Water pressure in the shower was a bit low, but makes sense given it's tank water and wasn't a big issue for us
